The MerkelGEAR AllGame knife was designed with a fixed blade. Important to us were a classic, appropriate alignment, an especially ergonomic handle, which allows for the use of the knife with the blade pointed upwards or downwards and a preferably hygienic overall construction. The steel used is AUS-8 steel. This stainless Japanese steel can excellently be re-sharpened and at the same time shows astonishing durability in the topic of blade durability. In our opinion, an extremely hard steel is not suitable for hunting knifes, if they cannot be re-sharpened anywhere and anytime. Proper large game or a large amount of game often makes re-sharpening indispensable. To prevent light reflexions, the entire steel has been matted using. The blade length is 9,5cm. The 10cm long handle consist out of two orange G10 plates. The 3,8mm wide blade is ribbed on the top to prevent slipping. The front, deep finger mould works as stopping element to prevent the hand from slipping onto the blade. A little hole for a lanyard loop and discreet logos on the blade complete this knife for rough day-to-day hunting.
